Ashlyn Gere's Biography
Birthdate: September 14,1967
Measurements: 34C-24-34
Height: 5' 3''
Ashlyn Gere is one of the very few to have successful careers in both erotic entertainment and mainstream film simultaneously. Billed variously as Kimberly Ashlyn Gere, Kimberly Patton or Kim McKamy, Ashlyn has starred or appeared in more than 128 features - 98 of them adult - from "B grade" horror flicks to sci-fi to suspense thrillers to television. Her career began in the 1980's with appearances in low-budget horror films including "Evil Laugh," "Dreamaniac" and the truly bad cult classic, "Creepozoids." During this period she also appeared in the last installment of the "Avenging Angel" series, "Angel III: The Final Chapter." Her television roles have been much more diverse: "The X-Files," (1993) "Silk Stalkings," (1991) "Space: Above and Beyond," (1995) "Millennium" (1996) and "Desperately Seeking Seka" (2002). Her recent mainstream movie roles have been in Jet Li's 2002 sci-fi special effects spectacular "One" and New Line Cinema's remake "Willard", starring Crispin Glover.
While her mainstream movie roles have won no critical acclaim, as an adult actress this star has shown very brightly indeed. That should have surprised no one since this slim and stacked brown-eyed brunette with the toned and honed 34C-22-33 curves and double majors in communication broadcasting and theater arts. A poised, skilled, mature woman at the top of her game. No other performer has landed virtually all the industry's top awards in just the first four years of her career. Do not miss her award winning performance in "Chameleons: Not the Sequel," "Steamy Windows," Andrew Blake's classic "Secrets" or Video Team's "Shifting Gere." Unfortunately, rumor has it that she has once again retired from adult filmmaking to concentrate on mainstream film and television projects. We'll just have to wait and see...
Ms. Gere was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame in 2001 and won AVN's Female Performer of the Year award in 1992.
