Calli Cox
Calli Cox has come a long way from her roots in a small Illinois town - the kind of place where you can't rent an adult video or even buy an adult magazine. She attended Eastern Illinois University on a full academic scholarship, majoring in elementary education and did well. During her senior year, on a dare from some friends, she entered an amateur night competition at the Diamond Cabaret in East St. Louis and enjoyed the attention so much that she came back for more the next month. Several more amateur nights followed with Calli winning most. After graduation, while she waited for the school year to start, she worked a few days a week at the Silver Bullet in Champaign, Illinois, quickly becoming a favorite. The fall semester found her teaching eighth grade English during the day and stripping at night but given the choice between a teacher's salary and the money a popular dancer can make... she did not return to her teaching job the next year.
While she was working at the Silver Bullet her boyfriend sent some of her photos to Playboy and she soon found herself flying to L.A. to appear on PLayboy TV's "Nightcall" as their first amateur fax girl. While there she met Roy Garcia of Sex Symbols Talent Management who suggested that in order to take her career in adult entertainment to the next level she would need to move to Los Angeles. She returned to Illinois, thought about it for nine months and made the move, rooming at Garcia's with Belladonna and Monica Mayhem. She still lives with Belladonna but has moved to the San Fernando Valley.
In the short time since her first video appearance in 2001 she has been featured in more than seventy, including VCA's "The Ozporns" and "Lacey's Secret" and "Skate Trixxx" from Video Team, numerous men's magazines including Penthouse and Club, has been awarded "Best New Starlet" by Adult Star Magazine and was nominated for AVN's "Best New Starlet" honors.
